Tomeworks Commitment to Ethics

Tomeworks is committed to supporting authors of all backgrounds.

Tomeworks reserves the right to refuse services for any work or author found to violate the company’s ethics. Tomeworks retains the right to refuse services on materials that appear to endorse prejudice, violence, and/or subjugation of protected classes and historically marginalized and/or disadvantaged populations. Whether a work violates this code of ethics is up to the sole discretion of the Tomeworks board. When a work is refused for ethical reasons, Tomeworks will include a short explanation (1-2 sentences) to the author explaining why. Deposits will not be returned on contracts canceled for ethical reasons. If an individual author tries to contract Tomeworks to edit works that violate this ethics policy more than once, Tomeworks reserves the right to refuse any and all future contracts from that individual.
